Roots & Rivers is a family-run business built by parents of three boys, so we understand the value of creating experiences that are engaging, educational, and accessible. Because we’re hands-on in every event, you’ll always receive personal attention, thoughtful planning, and a level of care you don’t get from larger, outsourced companies.

You can reach us by email, text, or by scheduling a phone call. These are the easiest and most efficient ways to get in touch. While we may be at an event or supporting our kids at a game, we monitor messages regularly and will respond as soon as possible.

Our pricing is based on the type of experience, group size, and materials used. We offer clear per-person pricing for workshops and DIY station-style events, with minimums for private bookings. Custom terrariums and larger or more complex events are quoted individually. We’re always transparent about pricing and review all details before moving forward.

Working with Roots & Rivers is collaborative, organized, and low stress. We communicate clearly, handle setup and cleanup, and guide each experience from start to finish so hosts can relax and enjoy the event. Because we’re hands-on at every booking, you’ll always work directly with us (Jon and or Sharyn), not a rotating team.

We accept cash, check (for private events), credit and debit cards, Zelle, and Venmo. Payment details will be provided during booking.
