We had a great experience with Jon from Roots & Rivers. He worked with us to find a project that was within our budget and we were able to offer a terrarium ornament program to our community. We had the best time partnering with Roots & Rivers for our terrarium-making class at The Messy Smock! The team was knowledgeable — they made the activity fun, engaging, and perfectly age-appropriate. Each child got to learn about plants, design their own terrarium, and take home something they were truly proud of. It was such a great experience from start to finish, and I can’t recommend Roots & Rivers enough for anyone looking to add a creative, nature-inspired touch to their events or classes. Rivers and Roots nailed my daughter's birthday party! The terrarium workshop was a hit with the kids, and the adults loved it just as much! They got to get their hands dirty, create their own mini-ecosystem, and take home a beautiful plant baby to care for. The team was super friendly, patient, and made sure everyone had a blast. Highly recommend Roots and Rivers!! I can't say enough wonderful things about them. Their terrarium making class was so much fun and educational at the same time. This would be a great idea for schools to engage children in a hands on Science lesson. There is something for all ages too. Not only did I enjoy it but my children, ages 9 and 11, did as well. It's a lot of fun for the whole family to do together! The owner Jon is such a great guy who loves to explain things and answer any questions you have. Jon and Sharyn from Roots & Rivers have been such a huge community driven business since day one of meeting them. They come with big ideas, and creative ways to align their business model with yours. Sharyn does an incredible job using social media to promote upcoming events, and getting the word out about their business, and the businesses they work with! Their positivity, and passion, has been what shines during events, and we see through customers as they leave with their terrariums. As each event ends, Jon is ready to start brainstorming the next fun project. We are excited to continue our partnership with Jon and Sharyn from Roots & Rivers and highly recommend others to work with them as well. Roots and Rivers was a great presenter to add to our slate of programs here at our library. They helped attendees create miniature winter- and holiday-themed scenes in 32 oz terrarium.
